Intelligence defined by moi is simply the ability to think. Usually, the higher the ability to think the more intelligence. As faculties to think grow, you also gain the ability to reason, adapt and learn. Human beings unlike other animals have not only the ability to think but also to adapt and learn from their environment. We often feel as if we are  at the peak of any living intelligence. We often pride ourselves as top of the food chain, not because we are physically more able than a lion or a tiger or almost any other wild animal but because our ability to think, reason, adapt and learn has allowed us to impose control among almost all living beings.

The level of control is another topic to focus on. We may keep a lion locked up in a zoo but we do not have 100% control. For example we cannot make it sit or lie down towards the left as we would like it to – atleast not in the wild. The higher the degree of control on the being in question, the higher the power we possess. 

The question I have to pose now is why do we want power? Is power simply imposing your will on anything and everything? To that I must say no. Sometimes power is simply not caring. Sometimes it is the ability to not react or not needing to react and sometimes it is imposing your will so deeply that even the thought of doing you wrong is a cardinal sin. So to this definition of intelligence I must also add the dimension of power and control. Ofcourse if you were just a brain in a jar who can think, reason, learn, and adapt although you might be smart, you would not be able to apply your will.

Now that I have all this out of the way. Humans have figured out capitalism and specialization is the key to maximizing economic output. If a country specialises in a particular good or service because of the abundance of natural resources or environment that allows the country to train and maximise the output of that resource and then trade this specialised resource for money and money can then be used as a tool to buy something that another nation specialises. But there is obviously a very serious allocation problem, what if even though the environment is set up optimally for a particular good or service to be specialised but you have these “Intelligent” humans that chooses to forge their paths into careers that are not as optimal for that particular nations specialisation? Human beings are highly specialised too, we often get a degree and get even higher specialsed degrees in a particlar subject or field. In which we become highly knowledgable in that field. That field which is such a small slice of all the existing body of knowledge. currently if You were to build a spaceship, you would have to bring together all these so called experts in a room – virtual or otherwise and get them to create individual bits and pieces and then get other minds to do simulations, source materials, put them all together. We have to deal with their ability to only work 8 hours, their ability to collaborate and the rate at which they can transfer knowledge to the people who give approvals and authorization eventually to those who have the capital.

When we look at Super Intelligence we must go a notch higher. I remember when Elon Musk claimed that Grok 4 was smarter than all phDs in any subject and can beat all human graduates in all fields simultaneously. What a claim right! This might or might not be true but for the purposes of this article, lets say that it is. What if it is able to make connections from fields that we could never connect together because we just do not have the numbers for enough permutations of people with odd expert level knowledge to collaborate. With Superintelligence, this is not just a fiction but a reality. An entity with Superintelligence will have access to all knowledge – not just human knowledge but also knowledge it has learnt through its own simulations and adaption. Not only that but 

Only superintelligence is God why hasn’t he jsut destroyed all of us? although this has happened by biblical standards in the past. One of the reaosns is love for his creation. We however see cases where some psycho parent might kill their children and vice versa. If there was emotion attached this act of killing your creation would atleast be very hard because of attachment.
